IPL 2025: Top Players With Most Half-Centuries Ft. Shreyas Iyer

Lucknow Super Giants opener Mitchell Marsh has been in red-hot form, recording four scores of fifty or more in just five innings.

PBKS star Priyansh Arya's explosive century against CSK in IPL 2025 was only the second hundred of the season, as most batters have been consistently notching up half-centuries instead of reaching three figures.

Among them, two Lucknow Super Giants players lead the chart for most fifty-plus scores so far, with only one Indian featuring in the top three.

Mitchell Marsh leads the pack

Lucknow Super Giants opener Mitchell Marsh has been in red-hot form, recording four scores of fifty or more in just five innings. The 33-year-old has tallied 265 runs so far, with a highest of 81 against Kolkata Knight Riders. He currently sits second in the Orange Cap standings.

Nicholas Pooran close behind

Teammate Nicholas Pooran isn't far behind. The dynamic left-hander has three fifty-plus knocks in five innings and leads the Orange Cap race with 288 runs. His best score of 87* also came against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Shreyas Iyer the lone Indian in top three

Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer is the only Indian in the top three when it comes to most fifty-plus scores this season. In four matches, he has registered two half-centuries, scoring 168 runs overall. His highest is 97 against Gujarat Titans.

Others with two fifties this season

Several other players have recorded two half-centuries each, including Gujarat Titans' Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler, RCB's Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar, CSK's Ruturaj Gaikwad, and KKR's Ajinkya Rahane.
