IPL 2019, RR vs SRH, Match 45: Rajasthan opt to field; Hyderabad make three changes
Royals are currently placed at the seventh spot with eight points from 11 games while SRH, on the other hand, SRH, placed at the fourth spot with five wins from 10 games
Rajasthan Royals (RR) would like to maintain the winning spree when they host the Kane Williamson-led Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday evening. Royals are currently placed at the seventh spot with eight points from 11 games while SRH, on the other hand, SRH, placed at the fourth spot with five wins from 10 games.
Toss Update:
Home skipper Steve Smith has won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Royals have made a couple of changes in the side; Liam Livingstone and Ashton Turner come in for Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer respectively.
“We are going to bowl. It looks similar to the wicket we played on against Delhi. Probably a fraction slower. Just those two changes in the side. Hopefully, we can put on a show for our home fans. They have been a force and a big thanks to them. Hopefully, we can end our home journey on a high,” said Smith at the toss.
On the other hand, the Orange Army has made three changes for tonight’s face-off. Kane Williamson is back to lead the side along with Wriddhian Saha and Siddharth Kaul come in for Yusuf Pathan, Jonny Bairstow and Sandeep Sharma. “We were going to do something similar. Obviously, there is the dew factor. The surfaces in the T20 game don't change too much. That is an element (average score being 160 because of the dew), there are so many variables that is hard to call. It is a fresh game, both teams looking to getting involved and both teams looking for those two points,” said Kane Williamson.
