India Rank In World Test Championship 2023-24 Updated Points Table: Rohit Sharma-led team India defeated England by five wickets on day 4 of IND vs ENG 4th Test in Ranchi. By virtue of this win, the hosts now have an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match IND vs ENG Test Series.

India's series win marks a significant milestone as this is England's first Test series defeat in "Bazball era" since Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum assumed leadership of the English Test team.

India's win over England in IND vs ENG 4th Test in Ranchi marks their fifth win in 8 Tests within the ongoing World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle. England are now in the eighth position in WTC Points Table, following their fifth defeat. Sri Lanka currently occupies the bottom of WTC points table, having suffered two losses in as many Test matches played.

India beat England by 5 wickets in Ranchi to secure their 17th consecutive home Test series win

England won the toss and elected to bat first in IND vs ENG 4th Test in Ranchi, posting a total of 353 runs while losing all 10 wickets in the first innings. In reply, India managed to score 307 runs. In the second innings, England faced early setbacks and were restricted to 145 runs. Consequently, India was set a target of 192 runs, which they successfully chased down on day 4 with five wickets in hand.
