IND vs WI: Selecting Rishabh Pant Over Sanju Samson Leaves Twitter Fuming

Samson's exclusion sparked a huge commotion on social media as the fans expressed their disappointments

The BCCI announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming limited-overs series against West Indies, scheduled to begin from December 6. As MS Dhoni remains unavailable for this rubber as well, the selectors chose to continue with wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, despite his poor run and DRS howlers in the recent games. On the other hand, MSK Prasad and team dropped Sanju Smason who was named in the squad for the Bangladesh T20Is but failed to find a spot in the playing XI. His exclusion, thereafter, sparked a huge commotion on social media as the fans expressed their disappointments. Even people from the cricket fraternity were left surprised on Samson’s omission from the squad. India will play three T20Is and as many ODIs against West Indies, starting from December 6.
