2. Indian player with most five wicket hauls: Ravichandran Ashwin bagged 26 wickets in IND vs ENG five-Test series. He emerged as the leading wicket-taker from both teams. Ashwin's stellar performance elevated him to the position of the player with the highest number of five-wicket hauls from India in Test cricket, surpassing Anil Kumble (35 fifers in Tests). With 36 five-wicket hauls in Tests, Ashwin's remarkable feat underscores his mastery in the game.

3. Unique captaincy record: Under Rohit Sharma's captaincy, India achieved a historic milestone by winning IND vs ENG Test series 4-1 after initially trailing 0-1. Rohit Sharma became the first Indian captain to lead the team to such a comeback victory. Besides India, only Australia and England have accomplished this feat, with the Australian team achieving it twice and the England team once.

4. England has lost most test matches against India: The England cricket team faced a setback by losing four consecutive Test matches against India, marking them as the team with the highest number of losses against India in Test cricket. With a total of 35 Test match defeats against India, England leads in this aspect. Following closely, Australia holds the second position with 32 losses against India.

5. Most sixes in a Test innings: In the third Test match against England, Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed a total of 12 sixes in an innings, propelling him to the joint first position in terms of hitting the most sixes in an innings of a Test match. Notably, Wasim Akram also achieved this feat by hitting 12 sixes in an innings of a Test match.
