Bumrah's Five-For Restricts England to 465

India dismissed England for 465 on Day 3 of the opening Test at Headingley, securing a narrow 6-run first-innings lead. Jasprit Bumrah led the attack with a superb five-wicket haul, while Prasidh Krishna claimed three scalps.

Although Ollie Pope fell early in the session, Harry Brook anchored England’s innings with a gritty 99 before falling just short of a century. With the match finely balanced, the spotlight now returns to India’s batting trio—Yashasvi Jaiswal, skipper Shubman Gill, and vice-captain Rishabh Pant—who had earlier struck impressive centuries to power India’s first-innings total.
