IND vs BAN: Rishabh Pant breaks MS Dhoni's record

This century is Rishabh Pant's sixth in just 58 Test innings. In comparison, former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni also scored 6 centuries, but he did so in 144 innings. With this achievement, Pant has now equaled Dhoni on the list of Indian wicketkeepers with the most centuries in Test cricket.

India set Bangladesh a target of 515 runs to win

On Day 3 of IND vs BAN 1st Test, India declared their innings at 287/4, setting Bangladesh a target of 515 runs to win. Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant both shone with brilliant centuries, scoring 119 not out and 109 runs, respectively. In India's second innings, Day 2 saw the dismissals of Yashasvi Jaiswal (10), Rohit Sharma (5), and Virat Kohli (17).

Bangladesh was bowled out for only 149 runs in their first innings, putting Team India in a strong position for an easy victory.
