MS Dhoni, among India's most accomplished captains, ended his Test career in a Border-Gavaskar series match. His last appearance in the Tests took place on the iconic Melbourne grounds.

VVS Laxman, one of Test cricket's legendary batters, played his career's final Test match during IND vs AUS Border-Gavaskar Trophy series. In an Adelaide Test, he scored one run in the first innings and 25 in the second.

Sourav Ganguly, who crafted many memorable moments for India as captain, concluded his Test career in Border-Gavaskar series. In his final Test in Nagpur in 2008, Ganguly scored a solid 85 runs in the first innings but was dismissed for a duck in the second.

Virender Sehwag, renowned for his fearless and aggressive batting, ended his Test career in the Border-Gavaskar series. His final Test match was played against Australia in 2013 at Hyderabad.

Rahul Dravid, the "Wall" of Indian cricket, concluded his Test career in IND vs AUS Border-Gavaskar series. His final Test match was against Australia in 2012 at Adelaide Oval.

Anil Kumble, India's legendary spin bowler, played his final Test match in Border-Gavaskar series. In 2008, Kumble featured in his last Test against Australia in Delhi, where despite the dominance of batsmen, he claimed three wickets.
