2. Legendary Indian wicket-keeper batter MS Dhoni completed a total of 195 stumpings for India - highest by any player ever in history of international cricket. Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara (132) is 2nd on the list.

3. The 'best finisher in the world' holds the record for most not-out innings in ODIs. MS Dhoni remained unbeaten by the end of an innings in ODIs, a record 84 times.

4. One of the most successful captains of all time, MS Dhoni played 332 matches as captain of the Indian cricket team, setting a record for playing most international matches as captain. Ex-Aussie star Ricky Ponting led Australia in 324 matches and is second on the list.

5. It took mere 38 innings for MS Dhoni to become world's number one batter in ICC's ODI rankings for batters in April 2006, making him the fastest-ever player to ODI number 1 batting rankings.
