Gambhir Slams "Immature Afridi" Over Kashmir Tweet, Orders "Kindergarten Tutorials For Help"

Gambhir took to his Twitter handle and took a swipe at former Pakistan all-rounder, stating that ‘he has refused to mature’

Cricketer turned politician Gautam Gambhir, on Wednesday, took a dig on former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi over his tweet about paying a visit to LoC after the Indian government scrapped the Article 370. The controversy sparked after Afridi announced that he would be present at Quaid’s mausoleum on Friday for the sake of “our Kashmiri brethren”. He also asked his fans to join him there, saying that he would soon be visiting the Line of Control. Moments later, Gambhir took to his Twitter handle and took a swipe at former Pakistan all-rounder, stating that ‘he has refused to mature’. Sharing the screenshots of Afridi’s post, Gambhir wrote: This isn’t the first time that Gambhir slammed Afridi over the ongoing Kashmir issue. Earlier on August 5, the day when Rajya Sabha passed the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill, Afridi tweeted about “unprovoked aggression” by India and “crimes against humanity” in Kashmir. Gambhir countered saying that the Pakistani all-rounder “was spot on” and should be “lauded” for highlighting it, but had forgotten to mention that all the ill happenings were taking place in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He also assured that “will sort it out son.”
