WATCH: Vaughan calls India bowling 'garbage', gets perfect reply from Ishant, Bumrah
Though he had to face the wrath of Indian cricket fans on this statement, the actual reply was given by Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah in the second session
Team India had quite a loose start with the ball in the first session of the second day of the Nottingham Test. After getting bundled up for 329, the Indian bowlers toiled hard but failed to pick up a wicket. A few dropped catches put more pressure on the visitors while England piled up 46 runs at lunch without any loss.
Meanwhile, former English skipper Michael Vaughan took a dig on Indian bowling and termed it ‘garbage’. Tweeting about the weather conditions and its effect on the game, Vaughan said, “Lovely day for bowling as long as you bowl well .... So far India have bowled garbage.”

Though he had to face the wrath of Indian cricket fans on this statement, the actual reply was given by Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah in the second session.
Ishant, who didn’t bowl before lunch, brought the 10 over and removed Cook in the last ball. A fuller delivery from the veteran Indian speedster moved inside and landed safely in Pant’s arms after brushing Cook’s willow. England lost their first man while Rishabh Pant had his first catch in whites for India.

Right in the next ball, Pant took the second catch of his Test career as Bumrah removed Keaton Jennings on 20.
