Dhawan roars back in Deodhar Trophy

New Delhi: India discard Shikhar Dhawan smashed a brilliant 128 off 122 deliveries to help India B reach the total of 327 runs. In his fiery knock, Dhawan hit 13 fours and 2 sixes


The left hand batsman stitched 93-run stand along with skipper Parthiv Patel for the first wicket and 103 runs with Jharkhand’s Ishan Jaggi.


India A skipper Harbhajan Singh went for a costly spell of 72 runs while Siddharth Kaul grabbed 5 wickets for 59.


Shikhar Dhawan played his last against England in ODI series but was left out of the squad to face Australia in the Test series. The Delhi batsman looks to make the best of the opportunity to make himself available for selection during the Champions Trophy in England.
