IND vs AUS: Delhi Police's 'Aus-Some' Tweet Praising Virat Kohli Goes Viral

Virat Kohli's batting masterclass on Sunday, him producing an incredible knock of 186 vs Australia in Ahmedabad, helped him put an end to over a three-year wait for a much-awaited century in whites.

Batting legend Virat Kohli (186 off 364 balls) fell short of what would've been the eighth double ton of his Test career, still, day 4 of India vs Australia 4th Test in Ahmedabad belonged to the former India skipper. Virat Kohli's batting masterclass on Sunday, him producing an incredible knock of 186 vs mighty Australia in Ahmedabad, helped him put an end to over a three-year wait for a much-awaited century in whites. This is the 28th Test ton of Virat's inspiring Test career, also his 75th ton overall in international cricket across formats.

As Kohli scripted history with his batting heroics vs Australia, Indian fanbase and cricket pundits were over the moon and flooded social media with praises for one of the greatest batters of all time. Meanwhile, one of the Tweets that stood out amongst all was of Delhi Police as they lauded Kohli's knock but in a creative way.

"Dear @GujaratPolice, Don't book our Delhi boy #ViratKohli for voluntarily causing hurt to the guests. AUS-SOME, game @imVkohli!" wrote the Delhi Police on Twitter.

In response to Australia's first innings total of 480, India ended their first innings at 571 in 178.5 overs. At Stumps on day 4, Australia reached 3/0, 88 runs behind India, with Matthew Kuhnemann (0 batting) and Travis Head (3 batting) surviving first six overs of Australia's second innings in the final session at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday. Virat Kohli, who was overnight 59, was the pick of Indian batter as he scored 186 off 364 balls.

India lead four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy series 2-1 and if they beat Australia tomorrow to win the series 3-1, they will qualify for WTC Final, set to be played at The Oval in June this year.

Brief Scores: Australia: 480 and 3 for no loss in 6 overs. India: 571 all out in 178.5 overs (Virat Kohli 186, Shubman Gill 128, Axar Patel 79; Todd Murphy 3/113, Nathan Lyon 3/151).
