Ranveer Allahbadia who has been facing severe backlash after his comments on Samay Raina's show 'India's Got Latent' has again released a statement on Instagram saying that he is fully cooperating with the authorities and has no intention of evading the situation.

Taking to Instagram, Ranveer acknowledged the gravity of the controversy and issued a statement taking responsibility for his words. He wrote, “My team and I are cooperating with the police and all other authorities. I will follow due process and be available to all agencies. My remark about parents was insensitive and disrespectful. It is my moral responsibility to do better, and I am genuinely sorry.”
In addition to addressing the backlash, Ranveer also shared that he has been receiving threats to his life and family. “I'm watching death threats pour in from people saying that they want to kill me and hurt my family. People have invaded my mother’s clinic posing as patients. I’m feeling scared and I don’t know what to do. But I’m not running away. I have full faith in the police and the judicial system of India,” he concluded.

Police unable to reach Ranveer Allahbadia
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police reported difficulty in reaching Ranveer, as his phone has been switched off. According to PTI, officers attempted to contact him and even visited his Versova residence, only to find it locked.
The controversy erupted after Ranveer made remarks during the show, sparking public outrage and multiple complaints. While the Khar police have been unable to contact him, they have summoned Samay Raina to appear before them by March 10. Raina’s lawyer had requested an extension, citing his client's presence in the US, which the police granted.
Authorities have already recorded statements from eight individuals, including content creators Apoorva Mukhija and Ashish Chanchalani, as well as Ranveer’s manager. However, no formal FIR has been lodged against him yet. Additionally, Maharashtra Cyber officials have called at least 50 individuals for questioning, including those who participated in the controversial show. Among them, actor and television personality Raghu Ram has already recorded his statement.
