Boxer Amir Khan announces split from wife in ugly Twitter row

New Delhi: British boxer Amir Khan announced spit with wife Faryal Makhdoom and accused her of cheating on him with heavyweifght champion, Anthony Joshua. The former light-welterweight world champion took to Twitter to post series of accusations against his wife that in heavyweight champion Joshua. The 30-year-old Khan posted an initial message that announced he and his wife were ending their four-year marriage, writing: “So me and the wife Faryal have agreed to split. I'm currently in Dubai. Wish her all the best.”

But he did not stop at it and followed with series of messages accusing Ms Khan of having a relationship with 27-year-old Joshua following their break-up, and labelled her a “Golddigger”.

Khan’s post did not go unanswered as Farayal was quick to respond and immediately launched accusation of her own.

Khan and Makhdoom, who wed in 2013, have a history of publicly accusing each other of various wrongdoings. Makhdoom went on a long social media rant last December, alleging Khan’s family had bullied her and demanded she wear more conservative clothes.
