When Is Jyeshtha Purnima In 2025? Know The Exact Date, Puja Rituals, And All

Jyeshtha Purnima 2025 is not only a day of spiritual importance but also a golden opportunity to resolve life’s hurdles through ancient Vedic remedies and devotion.

According to Hindu beliefs, bathing and performing charitable deeds on Purnima (Full Moon day) is considered highly auspicious. Especially during Jyeshtha month, donating water is believed to remove planetary doshas (astrological defects), as the earth remains significantly hot during this period, making water ten times more essential than in other months.

Traditionally, Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Narayan, and Chandra Dev (Moon God) are worshipped on Purnima. However, Jyeshtha Purnima also holds special significance due to its connection with the courageous woman Savitri. In many parts of India, married women observe the Vat Savitri Vrat on this day, praying for the long life of their husbands.
