Spiritual Significance Of Kamika Ekadashi

As per scriptures, those who observe Kamika Ekadashi vrat are freed from the fear of Yam and do not suffer the pains of hell. Instead, they attain the blessings of Lord Vishnu and move toward spiritual liberation. This fast is said to yield greater results than even deep knowledge of spiritual texts.

Staying awake on the night of Kamika Ekadashi and offering deepdaan is considered highly auspicious. Scriptures say that even Chitragupt, the divine record-keeper, cannot count the punya of a devotee who observes this vigil.

The fast helps in destroying sins, including those as grave as Brahmahatya or killing a Brahmin. Those who follow this vrat with devotion are believed to enjoy happiness in this life and ultimately attain Vishnu Lok after death.
