Chaitra Navratri Ashtami Puja Vidhi And Offerings:

On Ashtami, devotees offer a red chunari with sweets, a coin, and a coconut to Goddess Mahagauri. Coconut or coconut-based sweets are considered highly auspicious as prasad. After the puja, the coconut is either donated to a Brahmin or distributed as prasad among devotees.

For those performing Kanya Pujan, it is customary to serve young girls with a meal that includes puri, vegetable curry, halwa, and black gram. This ritual is believed to bring divine blessings and prosperity.
