Post the Ram Navami violence in Nalanda and Howrah, security forces have been deployed in Nalanda to bring the situation under control while peace returns to Howrah.

Violence broke out in West Bengal's Howrah and Bihar's Nalanda on Ram Navami as two groups clashed with each other in both states. Vehicles were set on fire and public property was destroyed in that clash. Vehicular movement was stopped.

However, this morning, the situation looked under control in Howrah where violence broke out on Ram Navami. People were seen buying vegetables like any other normal day.
