KL Rahul achieved this record as soon as he reached 30, playing his 105th innings in IPL.

Rahul surpassed West Indies great Chris Gayle (112 innings) and Virat Kohli (128 innings) to become the quickest to cross 4000 IPL runs.

The 31-year-old Karnataka batter also holds the record for scoring fastest 2000 runs in the IPL (60 innings), a feat he achieved in 2020.

Batting first, Lucknow Super Giants scored 159/8 with KL Rahul scoring the most 74 runs for his team. In reply, Punjab Kings chased down the target in 19.3 overs.
