Vinesh Phogat has won by the margin of more than 6000 votes

Vinesh Phogat retired from wrestling after her historic run at Paris Olympics 2024, which unfortunately ended without a medal as she was found overweight before her Final by merely 100 grams.

After retiring from the sport, Vinesh Phogat joined Congress party and was given the ticket for Julana assembly.

The 30-year-old was facing a stern challenge from BJP's Yogesh Kumar and AAP's Kavita Dalal.

After the end of counting, Vinesh Phogat emerged victorious from Haryana's Julana by a margin of 6015 votes.
