The BCCI issued a press release attributing Ishan Kishan's withdrawal from the forthcoming Test series against South Africa to 'personal reasons.'

Following Ishan Kishan's request, the Men’s Selection Committee appointed Mr. KS Bharat as the replacement wicketkeeper.
