A Peek Into National Bravery Award 2023

The National Bravery Awards are presented yearly to approximately 25 Indian youngsters under the age of 18 for "meritorious acts of bravery against all odds."  The Government of India and the Indian Council for Child Welfare present the awards which was established in 1957. (Image Source: PTI)

The prizes are often announced on 14 November, Children's Day, or in January of the following year, and are later delivered by the prime minister on the eve of Republic Day, with the President hosting a reception in their honour prior to this, where the children meet the media. (Image Source: PTI)
