Sharmin Segal is waiting for her upcoming web series ‘Heeramandi’. She is niece of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Sharmin Segal was born on September 28, 1995, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre for graduation.

Her journey with movies started as an assistant director. She assisted ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ (2013), ‘Mary Kom’ (2014), ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015) and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ (2022).

Sharmin Segal made her acting debut in 2019's ‘Malaal’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She starred opposite Meezaan Jafri.

Based on her performance, Sharmin received a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

In the 2022 ZEE5 film ‘Atithi Bhooto Bhava’, Sharmin Segal co-starred with Pratik Gandhi.

Last year, Sharmin Segal got married to her boyfriend Aman Mehta in Mumbai.
