Ahead of the re-release of Umrao Jaan, a special screening was held in Mumbai on Thursday night which was attended by many celebs including Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt and others.

The event turned star-studded as several renowned celebrities — including Anil Kapoor, Aamir Khan, AR Rahman, and Hema Malini — walked the red carpet to celebrate the timeless classic.

Stealing the spotlight was Rekha, the film’s legendary leading lady, who arrived in a stunning ivory and gold ensemble, adorned with elegant traditional jewellery.

Alia Bhatt graced the screening in a stunning pink saree, thoughtfully styled as an homage to one of Rekha’s iconic saree looks from the classic film Silsila.
