Munawar Faruqui was born in Gujarat's Junagadh to a Gujarati Muslim family. Munawar left school after 5th class die to financial constraints in the family. He began working at a young age.

Munawar lost his mother at a young age who died of suicide. After his mother's death, Munawar relocated to Mumbai at his aunt's request where he began doing odd jobs.

In April 2020, he uploaded a standup comedy video named 'Dawood, Yamraaj & Aurat' on his channel, post which he earned initial stardom. He also released his debut song 'Jawab' in collaboration with an Indian musician Spectra in August 2020.

Following their divorce in 2022, Mr. Faruqui and his ex-wife had a five-year-old kid. He is presently seeing Nazila Sitaishi, a social media personality.
