Coolie: Topping the list is Coolie, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ambitious Tamil action drama that marks Rajinikanth’s 171st film. Officially announced in April 2024, the film brings together a powerhouse cast including Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, and Shruti Haasan. Coolie is scheduled to release worldwide on August 14, 2025, setting the stage for a box office clash during the Independence Day weekend.

War 2: Set to release the same day as Coolie, War 2 is the high-octane Hindi-language sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Yash Raj Films, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr., and Kiara Advani. With its IMAX release and massive fan following, War 2 promises explosive action and a cinematic face-off to remember.

The RajaSaab: The RajaSaab is a romantic horror comedy from Telugu filmmaker Maruthi.
