Kangana Ranaut treated fans with pictures from her village where a temple of Kartikeya Swamy has opened. Sharing pictures in traditional Himachali ethnic wear, the actress-politician looked stunning as ever.

Kangana shared the pictures with a caption that read, "Today in my Simsa village, the deity of Lord Kartikeya Swamy opened, I have named my house after Kartikeya Swamy ji, this temple is right in front of my house, it is a blessing that Parvati and Shiva son Kartikeya Swamy ji tapasya at this place. This ancient Sanatani tradition is coming from the early morning teaches us the value of religion and life. May God protect everyone."

For those unaware, Kartikeya is also known by several other names such as Murugan, Skanda, Shanmukha, and Subrahmanya. He is described as the son of the deities Shiva and Parvati and the brother of Ganesha. Kartikeya is the Hindu god of war.

In other news, actor-filmmaker and politician Kangana Ranaut has added another feather to her cap as she turns restaurateur. She said that it is one of the most special projects of her life and is an extension of herself.

Kangana took to her social media to announce her cafe christened The Mountain Story and shared a video, where the actress-filmmaker proudly showcased her Himachali roots.
