Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said, "Parents have apprised me of their grievances. No school has the right to harass parents and children. They have no right to threaten children with abnormal fee hike. There are rules and regulations (for fee hike) which must be followed. If any school is found indulging in such acts, it will have to suffer. We shall issue notices to all the schools regarding which we have received complaints." (Image Source: PTI)

Delhi Congress chief Devendra Yadav said, "We have raised this issue several times — that most private schools have become unchecked. Irrational fee hikes are being reported from various areas. In the last 2–3 years, we've seen 60-62% fee hike at some schools." (Image Source: X@devendrayadvinc)

Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood said, “We shall create a strong documentation system and tighten the noose around such schools. We shall also investigate how arbitrary fee hikes were approved in the past and whether any corrupt dealings took place with the previous government. Such malpractice will not be tolerated."
