Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey Kicks Off On July 5

Royal Enfield has announced the dates for the 15th edition of the Himalayan Odyssey. The event will see 50 men and 20 women riders covering a total distance of 2,200km over 18 days, from July 5 to July 22, 2018.

The ride will officially be flagged off from Delhi on July 7. Chandigarh would be the first overnight stop for the men's event, while women riders will first stop overnight at Parwanoo. While both men and women will start from Delhi, they will take different routes to finally come together in Leh. The riders will cover a maximum distance of 300km in a day during the longest sections of the event.

Through the Himalayan Odyssey ride, riders from all over India will get a chance to explore the picturesque regions of the Himalayas in Ladakh as well as Spiti. Like earlier iterations, this year’s event will also challenge riders at every step with numerous mountain passes and natural obstacles. That said, a team of experienced lead riders will ensure the safety of all participants.

The company said that a journey like the Himalayan Odyssey is a life-changing experience. The riders will face different kinds of challenges together which will grow a sense of mutual trust and friendship amongst them. Every rider will take back a bunch of unforgettable memories at the end of this event.
