Malikarjun Kharge makes controversial statement against PM Modi, compares him with Hitler

He said that “Indian constitution is the soul of India, which is being murdered. BJP has made new rules in last 4 years as per its wish, which aren’t at par with Indian laws and needs”.

New Delhi: Days after MP Shashi Tharoor made a controversial statement on PM Modi, now senior Congress leader Malikarjun Kharge has done the same. Kharge compared PM Modi with German autocrat Hitler. Speaking at an event organized in Mumbai, Kharge said “PM Modi is trying to get the same autocracy in India, like Hitler got in Germany”. He further said that “Constitution is in danger and we need to fight against BJP’s attempt to destroy it”.    Kharge said that “Ever since BJP has come to power, it has destroyed freedom of expression and are continuously imposing censors on the press”. He said “BJP could not walk even 4 steps correctly in last 4 years. They have no right to question Congress and ask us what we did in last 70 years”. He said that “Indian constitution is the soul of India, which is being murdered. BJP has made new rules in last 4 years as per its wish, which aren’t at par with Indian laws and needs”. Earlier, Tharoor had referred PM Modi as a “scorpion sitting on a Shivalinga” and Congress party had sidelined Tharoor over the statement. He also referred PM Modi as a “hero sitting on white horse with a sword”. A case of defamation was filed against Tharoor over his Scorpio statement in Delhi court.
