J&K, Budgam: 4 OGWs Of LeT Arrested In Chadoora; Arms & Ammunition Recovered

According to Police, acting on a tipoff, security forces arrested four persons from Chadoora who were acting as ‘Over Ground Workers’ for Lashkar-e-Taiba in the area.

J&K: Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested four suspected OGW’s along with arms and ammunition in the Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district, along with arms and ammunition, during a cordon and search operation. Also Read | J&K: Indian Army Foils Another Attempt By Pakistan To Smuggle Weapons Into Kashmir According to Police, acting on a tipoff, security forces arrested four persons from Chadoora who were acting as ‘Over Ground Workers’ for Lashkar-e-Taiba in the area. The arrested persons have been identified as Arshid Ahmad Baghat, Nisar Ahmad Baghat, Tahir Jahangir Dar and Adil Ahmad Wani, all residents of Wathoora village in Budgam. A police official while confirming the arrest of four suspected persons said that an FIR number 180/20 U/S 18,19,20,23 ULA Act stands registered at police station Chadoora and further investigations have been started.
