The Corps Commander level talks between India-China yesterday were held at Moldo in cordial, positive and constructive atmosphere, sources said. There was mutual consensus between the two militaries to disengage. Modalities for disengagement from all friction areas in Eastern Ladakh were discussed and will be taken forward by both sides. This comes after a week of tensions triggered by Galwan Valley face-off between the two countries. A similar level of talks were held earlier after the face-off but yielded no results. Meanwhile military build-up at border continued from both sides. On June 15, 20 Indian soldiers attained martyrdom in the violent face-off with Chinese soldiers in Galwan Valley leading to unprecedented tensions between both the countries. Indian government has given freedom to the Indian armed forces to deal with any act of aggression by China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the de-facto border between the two countries. The positive development of disengagement comes ahead of the trilateral meet between the foreign ministers of RIC countries in which both Indian and Chinese ministers will participate. Also Watch:
