Ghaziabad: 7 Dead, Several Injured In Explosion At A Factory In Modi Nagar; CM Orders Immediate Probe

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences to the families of people who died in the fire incident at the candle factory in Ghaziabad.

New Delhi: In a highly tragic incident, at least seven people lost their lives while several others suffered injures in an explosion that took place at a factory in Ghaziabad’s Modi Nagar on Sunday. As per the initial reports from a news agency ANI, Ghaziabad District Magistrate Ajay Shankar Pandey has informed that seven persons died and four are injured who have been taken to the hospital for treatment. Fire engines have been rushed to the spot to douse off the fire. Also Read| India Bans Import Of Power Equipments From Pakistan And China; 'Won't Tolerate Any Transgression' Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences to the families of people who died in the fire incident at the candle factory in Ghaziabad. The Chief Minister has instructed the District Magistrate and Senior Superintendent of Police to reach the spot and provide immediate assistance to the injured persons. Besides this, he has also directed to investigate the incident and submit the report till today evening. (This is a developing story. More details awaited)
