However, train, bus, air travel continues to be shut irrespective of the zones across India. Witnessing the relatively flat curve of COVID-19 cases, it is expected that after May 17, the means of transport may be resumed for the daily commuters. The Delhi Metro, which has been stalled for more than a month due to the continued fear of Corona virus infection, is also expected to restart soon. An official from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation stated that DMRC is fully prepared with all precautions to restart the train services post lockdown. As soon as the government releases the order to restart transport, metro trains will start running for common people.
