LJP Chief Chirag Paswan's Health Condition Deteriorates Days After Developing Covid Symptoms

LJP media in-charge Krishna Singh Kallu, who informed about this on Thursday, said that Chirag had been ill for the past several days.

Patna: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief and Jamui MP Chirag Paswwan, who had Covid-19 symptoms earlier, is presently in home isolation at his residence in the national capital due to deterioration in health.

Chirag got the RT-PCR test done three days ago and his report was found negative.   

LJP media in-charge Krishna Singh Kallu, who informed about this on Thursday, said that Chirag had been ill for the past several days.

He said the LJP chef is presently in home-isolation after his health condition deteriorated, adding the party leaders and workers have wished him for a speedy recovery.

Chirag had earlier on May 10 tweeted about having Covid-19 symptoms.

“I got the RT-PCR test done following corona symptoms such as fever and headache. As a precaution, I have isolated myself. I urge you all not to ignore corona-related symptoms and get it checked immediately. Get the treatment done if the report is positive,” he wrote on the micro-blogging platform Twitter in Hindi.

Earlier in the day, the Union Health Ministry informed that 12 states have more than one lakh active cases, eight states have over 50,000 cases and 16 states have less than 50,000 active cases.

Union Health Ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal said as many as 187 districts have shown a continued decline in cases since the last two weeks.
