Boy shoots self accidently while taking selfie

Pathankot: A student of Class 10 was injured after he reportedly shot himself in the head accidently with a revolver while clicking a selfie. The victim, Ramandeep Singh, was rushed to a private hospital, referred him to Ludhiana with the bullet in his head. The incident took place when Ramandeep was taking a selfie with his sister with the revolver when the trigger was pressed accidently injuring him in the head. The Pathankot Police have registered a case of accident in this connection. Bharat Bhushan, Station House Officer of the Division Number 2 Police Station, said the boy was injured when he was trying to take a selfie with a gun. "Police have registered a case of accident in this connection. Relevant sections will be added to it once the boy is fit for recording his statement," said the SHO.
