Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday conveyed his greetings to the nation on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi said, "Best wishes on the auspicious occasions of Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja."

सभी देशवासियों को बसंत पंचमी और सरस्वती पूजा की बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनाएं।

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended his greeting and said, "Heartiest greetings to all countrymen on the auspicious festival of Basant Panchami. I wish that Maa Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, wisdom and prudence, brings happiness and prosperity in everyone's life."

BJP national president JP Nadda, in a post on X, said that may Maa Saraswati illuminate people's life with the light of knowledge and provide happiness, prosperity and good health. He posted, "Heartiest greetings to all of you on Basant Panchami, the festival dedicated to the worship of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of learning, wisdom and knowledge, and love for nature.
