8 Members Of Christian Organisation Booked In MP For 'Forced Conversion, Molestation'
Speaking to the news agency, City Superintendent of Police, Abhishek Tiwari said that both the sides were heard and statements of all complainants were recorded.
New Delhi: Eight people of a local Christian organisation were booked for alleged forced religious conversion and molestation of minor girls in Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh district, reported news agency ANI. As per the report quoting complainants as saying, they “went to them for work but did not say that they will do this.”
Speaking to the news agency, City Superintendent of Police, Abhishek Tiwari said that both the sides were heard and statements of all complainants were recorded.

“Under Damoh Rural Police Station limits, a complainant and 4-5 others, filed a complaint of forced religious conversion. The complaint stated that a local organisation is forcefully converting people to Christianity. Statements of all complainants were recorded and the other side was also heard,” the SP said.
“The allegations of the complainant were found to be true and an FIR against 8 people related to the organisation was registered. Further investigation will be done. The complainant also stated that minor girls with them were molested. We have filed FIR,” the SP added, quoted by the news agency.
