Swara Bhaskar Thanks Pakistani Designer For Her Royal Lehenga On Walima. Have A Look
The wedding festivities of Swara Bhaskar and Fahad Ahmad concluded with the Walima for which she had worn a gorgeous lehenga that came all the way from Pakistan.
New Delhi: Actor Swara Bhasker, who recently got married to Fahad Ahmad, has been posting photos of her wedding ceremony on social media. Recently, she took to Twitter and thanked Pakistani fashion designer Ali Xeeshan for making the lehenga for her Walima.
Swara shared stunning images of herself and described how her lehenga travelled all the way from Lahore to Bareilly with stops in Dubai, Mumbai, and New Delhi. She wrote, "My Walima outfit came all the way from Lahore via Dubai- Bombay-Delhi finally to Bareilly! I’ve long marvelled at the talent of Ali Zeeshan. When I called him with the idea of wearing his work at Walima, his warmth & generosity made me admire the person."

It was a gorgeous ivory lehenga with white, pink and green stonework. It also had beautiful motifs and embellishments. She also wore a beautiful dupatta, which had blue borders, to complete her outfit. There was also a dash of pink that added a spark to her outfit.
Swara completed her look with stunning traditional jewellery. She wore a heavy necklace made up of pearls and emeralds. It also had beautiful polkis hanging from it and paired it up with matching jhumkas. Additionally, she wore a maang tika and a golden nath.
Talking further about the outfit and Ali, she said, "Ali Xeeshan not only sent Jodi outfits for Fahad & me, but customised them painstakingly with personalised details & messages embroidered into the exquisite garments. My sarhad-paar ki bestie Natrani came to our rescue & enabled the outfits to reach Dubai."

Swara and Fahad met during the anti-CAA protests in 2020. Swara and Fahad had an intimate court wedding but all the other ceremonies were a grand affair. They threw a lavish reception attended by their friends, family and political leaders alike. They also had a Qawaali night which was a glamorous event. Their wedding festivities concluded on Tuesday with a Walima hosted by Fahad’s family.
