'Swim Around The World...': Milind Soman Expresses Ambition For A World Record

Despite his global endeavours, Soman indicated that he had no intentions of relocating abroad and affirmed his love for Goa, describing it as the "most beautiful place".

Milind Soman, known for his passion for challenges and self-improvement, recently shared insights into his ambitions and experiences in a brief interview with Curly Tales. In response to questions about role models, Soman, 57, candidly revealed that his primary role model is his future self. He embraces challenges to continually better himself, and this ethos guides his aspirations.

When asked about his toughest challenge to date, Soman reminisced about his remarkable 1,500 km run from Delhi to Mumbai, a feat he humorously noted as both the toughest and the longest.

Choosing between his roles as an athlete and an actor, Soman proclaimed a preference for "acting as an athlete".

Soman's world record aspiration? He expressed a desire to set a record for "swimming around the world".

Despite his global endeavours, Soman indicated that he had no intentions of relocating abroad and affirmed his love for Goa, describing it as the "most beautiful place" and proudly declaring his Goan heritage.

Curious about his culinary adventures, Soman shared that the weirdest thing he had ever eaten was a scorpion.

Soman's affinity for swimming often takes a back seat to his running endeavors. He recently celebrated a 1 km swim in an Instagram video, marking his return to the pool after a hiatus. Reflecting on his earlier swimming days, Soman revealed that he used to swim approximately 65 km each week, showcasing his enduring passion for the sport.

In a heartwarming gesture, he acknowledged the significance of giving back and expressed gratitude to those who maintain safe and enjoyable swimming facilities. Soman emphasized that giving is not solely about monetary contributions but extends to appreciating the value of communal spaces like swimming pools.
