  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lime juice, fresh
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon glycerin

Apply the mixture to your lips gently before going to bed. The next morning, wash your lips.

Turmeric:

Turmeric may act as a melanin inhibitor, according to a 2010 study. In a small mixing bowl, combine:

  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • sufficient turmeric powder to make a paste
  • Rub the paste on your lips with a wet fingertip.
  • Allow it to sit for about five minutes before gently rinsing it with cool water. 
  • Apply your favourite moisturiser after drying your lips.

Aloe:
