The Krampus and Perchten Parade is a fabulous winter tradition that is rooted in Alpine folklore. It is celebrated in Austria, Germany, and parts of Northern Italy, annually during early December. This parade brings centuries-old myths to life in an exciting and dramatic street event.

The parade features individuals dressed as Krampus, the fearsome, horned creature whi punishes children who misbehave, and Perchten, the ancient pagan spirits who are meant to drive out evil and welcome the New Year.
