Chennai: Dog thrown from rooftop found alive

NEW DELHI: In Chennai, a pup thrown off the rooftop was found alive. An animal rights activists apparently, helped in getting police's action on the issue as well as social media attention by posting a picture late on Tuesday night, saying that the dog being unable to walk properly and is presently receiving medical attention. The activist, Shravan Krishnan, posted the image on the social networking sites,  saying, that the pup was still wagging its tail when found and this in turn breaks his heart. The dog, was thrown off the rooftop of a building by two youth, identified as medical students, with Shravan. Chennai Police is presently on the lookout for the two youngsters, who have been asked to turn themselves in for arrest.
 The video clip of the ruthless act attracted a lot attention and had gone viral on various social networking platforms.
