Vijay Starrer 'Beast' Occupies Ajith's 'Valimai' Shooting Spot

The second schedule of ‘Beast’ is currently being shot at the east coast regions of Chennai, where Ajith’s forthcoming movie ‘Valimai’ was shot.

Chennai: Though there has been no face-off between Ajith and Vijay, the comparisons between these two superstars have always been there amongst fans. In fact, fans of both the stars celebrated the moment when Vijay gifted a watch to Ajith Anna back in 2011, but they never miss a chance to confront as well.

Now the fresh report from K-town may irk Ajith fans who are desperately waiting for 'Valimai' release as Vijay's upcoming film 'Beast' had occupied the shooting spot where Thala's upcoming film was filmed.

It is said that the second schedule of ‘Beast’ is currently being shot at the east coast regions of Chennai, and the team has decked up a huge set for the shoot. Ajith’s forthcoming movie ‘Valimai’ too was shot in the same location.

As per the reports, Ajith has filmed an action sequence at the spot, earlier.

Blockbuster movies like 'Mersal', 'Indian 2', and few other films have also been shot in the same location and the place away from the city allows the filmmakers to shoot with freedom and peace.

Currently, 'Beast' shooting is heading strong and steadily, and the makers are yet to decide on the release date of the film.

In the past also Ajith and Vijay shared the shooting spot as they both were shooting for their respective films 'Mankatha' and 'Velayudham' at the Binny Mills complex in Chennai. After knowing about Vijay’s presence in the complex Ajith showed his courtesy and went to meet his good friend for a chat.

The film is under the production of Sun Pictures, and it has roped in Anirudh Ravichander for the music score.
