TV Anchor Asks Actor Vishwak Sen To ‘Get Out’ Of Studio, Sparks Controversy

TV9 anchor Devi Nagavalli reacted angrily on Vishwak Sen.

New Delhi: This week's top news stories revolved on popular Telugu actor Vishwak Sen, who had a disastrous interview for his forthcoming film on Monday. A video is making the rounds on the internet in which TV anchor Devi Nagavalli asks Sen to leave the news studio in Hyderabad, according to the footage.

Things went wrong when the anchor Devi Nagavalli reportedly made some personal comments about the actor. During a conversation regarding his famous prank film, she allegedly referred to him as 'Paagal Sen' and a "Depressed guy."

The actor criticised for the same and said,  "You do not have any right to attack me personally. You better mind your tongue and not call me Depressed person or Paagal Sen."

Devi Nagavalli, the senior anchor who is conducting the discussion, was taken aback by the attitude and began yelling at the actor, pleading with him to leave the studio. She shouted, “Get Out… You get out of my studio.”

Soon after the video went viral, Vishwak Sen supporters took to social media to express their support for the actor while also criticising the anchor.

On the other hand, Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma supported  the Telugu news anchor. He tweeted in favour of Devi Nagavalli and wrote, “I never saw a woman looking so much more powerful than a man. @Devi_Nagavalli ⁩is no less than SARKAR."

As far as his professional career is concerned, Vishwak Sen has been actively promoting his next film, 'Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam,' which is set to be released on May 6.
