CM Rekha Gupta-Led Delhi Cabinet Approves Implementation Of Ayushman Bharat Scheme After First Meeting

The Delhi Cabinet under CM Rekha Gupta approved implementing the Ayushman Bharat scheme and presenting 14 pending CAG reports in the upcoming assembly session.

The newly formed Delhi Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta approved the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme in the national capital and also decided to present 14 pending CAG reports in the first session of the assembly.

The decisions were made after the first meeting of the Delhi Cabinet on Thursday which came following the oath-taking ceremony.

Addressing her first press conference, CM Rekha Gupta said that the previous AAP government did not allow the health scheme in the city, preventing the people from availing its benefits.

The Chief Minister along with her Deputy Parvesh Verma and Cabinet ministers assumed the charge after taking oath of the office earlier in the day. After taking the charge, Gupta asserted that not a single day will be wasted in realising the "Viksit Delhi" mission.
