Tejasswi Prakash Breaks Silence On Karan Kundrra Breakup Rumours: 'We Just Laugh at It'

Actor Tejasswi Prakash shares her thoughts on relationship rumours with Karan Kundrra, her acting journey, and what lies ahead in her career.

Actor Tejasswi Prakash has had her fair share of time in the spotlight, and while her personal life often dominates headlines, she wants people to focus more on her craft. Known for her diverse roles in television and reality shows, Tejasswi believes that the recognition she truly cherishes is for her acting, not just for being part of the beloved ‘Tejran’ duo with Karan Kundrra.

“I love it when people like me for the person I am. And it is a lot better when they actually have a sense of the fact that I'm just not a celebrity whom they like. I'm also an artist, and I don't ever want people to forget that,” she said recently, while promoting The Surreal Collection at a hair show by Godrej Professional in Delhi.

Breakup Rumours? 'We Find It Funny,' Says Tejasswi

The actor’s relationship with Karan Kundrra, which began during 'Bigg Boss 15', continues to be a hot topic among fans. While rumours around their marriage or breakup regularly circulate online, Tejasswi insists that none of it affects them.

“I know that there is a lot of focus on my personal life... But I don’t think the entire focus is just on that,” she remarked. She added that both she and Karan are pursuing independent careers and are unaffected professionally by the constant buzz.

On the recurring breakup rumours, Tejasswi says they’ve learned to take it lightly. “I know our fans keep themselves entertained. And that's fine. I'm okay with that. We find it funny. We actually laugh at it,” she said with a smile. And marriage? “No, that's not the plan,” she confirmed.

Tejasswi on her career and life

Fresh from her stint on 'Celebrity MasterChef', Tejasswi has returned to the world of fiction with a new project—though she’s keeping the details under wraps for now. Previously seen in Naagin 6, she finds the shift between genres purely coincidental. “It is right that my work graph has turned out to alternate between fiction and non-fiction. But it was never planned like that. But I feel like that it is a good way of going about it,” she explained.

As for what’s next, her focus is currently on getting into shape. “Honestly, the goal that I am working towards right now is losing some weight for my next project. That's literally the only thing I am working towards,” she said, adding that she’s eager to dive deeper into acting again.

While the rumours keep swirling, Tejasswi remains grounded—invested in her art and moving forward with clarity. Whether it’s her evolving filmography or her candidness about personal life, she’s proving that there's much more to her than just social media buzz.
