New Delhi: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Gurucharan Singh has finally returned home after being missing since April 22, 2024. He arrived back in Delhi on Friday.

Gurucharan Singh returned home after being missing for 26 days. News agency ANI shared a picture of the 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma' actor posing with a police officer, in his first appearance, days after he went missing.

Upon his return, Delhi Police officials interrogated Singh and discovered that he had embarked on a religious journey, visiting Gurudwaras in several cities, including Amritsar and Ludhiana, since he was reported missing. Singh eventually realized he should return home.

 

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame actor Gurucharan Singh has returned home on 17 May. He had gone missing on 22nd April. The Police have recorded his statement in the court. Gurucharan Singh said he had gone away from home on a spiritual journey: Delhi Police

Gurucharan Singh went missing on April 22

Gurucharan Singh was last seen on April 22, 2024. He was supposed to take a flight from Delhi to Mumbai but never reached the airport in the national capital. His father Hargit Singh lodged a missing complaint with the Delhi Police in Hindi, which read: “My son Gurucharan Singh, Age: 50 years, had left at 8:30 am on 22nd April to go to Mumbai. He went to the airport to catch a flight. He didn't reach Mumbai, neither has he returned home and his phone is not reachable. He is mentally stable and we had been searching for him but now he has been missing.”

News18 recently quoted Delhi police sources, claiming that Gurucharan planned his disappearance. “He left his phone in the Palam area. We are trying to find but it only makes it more difficult for us to trace Gurucharan Singh, because this means that the phone is not with the actor. In the CCTV footage we recovered that he was seen moving from one e-rickshaw to another. Looks like, he had planned everything and has moved out of Delhi.”
