Sunil Grover is quoting double the fee after quitting Kapil Sharma's show

The new fee demanded by Sunil Grover has raised several eyebrows.

New Delhi: Following the brawl between comedians Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, things don’t seem to be falling in line for both. According to a news report, while Kapil is struggling to keep his show running, Sunil Grover who had left his show is now charging Rs. 13-14 lakhs per appearance. Earlier he used to charge Rs. 7-8 lakhs per episode. The Kapil Sharma show has witnessed a dip in its viewership ratings after Sunil left the show. Also, Kapil couldn’t shoot the two new episodes for being unwell - once for a show with the cast of ‘Mubarakaan’ and then for an episode with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. Kapil’s contract with Sony TV has also not been renewed yet which has ended on April 2017 leading to a down in his fee as well. Reportedly, Sony TV has signed Kapil’s rival comedian, Krushna Abhishek for a new show titled ‘Comedy Company’. The show will also feature guest appearance by Sunil Grover.
